Lorlornyo Studios
Created and directed by Erika Laquette, professionally known as Erika the Conqueror.
Lorlornyo Studios operates as a multidisciplinary creative studio encompassing music, performance, storytelling, movement, and preventative wellness experiences.
Erika’s professional background includes service as a former U.S. Air Force Military Police Officer and Chaplain Assistant, where she spent over 13 years facilitating team cohesion, relationship resilience, and structured rest through Strong Bonds programming. Her academic training spans Criminal Justice, Criminal Psychology, White-Collar Crime, Racial Economic Inequality, and a Master’s degree in Business, informing her systems-level approach to creativity, economics, and human sustainability.
In the wellness sphere, Erika holds an E-500hr Yoga & Self-Development Coach certification, with a specialization in Yoga for Trauma Survivors. She previously operated under Yoga Alliance registration before intentionally stepping away to support greater accessibility, diversity, and autonomy within the global wellness industry.
Her work resists extraction and burnout culture, advocating instead for R&R (Rest & Relaxation) as a strategic practice, not a reward. Through retreats, musical storytelling, and experiential gatherings, Erika creates environments where participants arrive whole — not to be fixed — but to remember their own creative rhythm.
A deep-sea diver and lifelong traveler, she is also developing New Era Water Sports, an eco-conscious initiative exploring renewable-energy sea travel and water-based mobility in honor of ancestral nomadic and exploratory traditions. Future projects include AquaX to Port, envisioning sustainable coastal connections across Africa and the diaspora.
Erika’s work is not about spectacle — it is about presence, process, and longevity.
She builds slowly, intentionally, and with receipts.
